Up-cycled T-shirt

An Up-cycling project that's not too difficult but does involve the use of a sewing machine

Recycled T-Shirt One Shoulder'd Top

This DIY is alot of fun. And the basic idea can be applied to more than just T-shirts. Get your creativity on!

Get an old T-shirt or buy one at a craft store. Get one size larger than your size.

Then cut off the left-side sleeve.

Next, cut a diagonal line from the left side of the neck to the right armpit.

Cut a line down the middle of the still remaining left shoulder. Stop at about half-way down where the sleeve was.

Cut four lines (or five strips) into the left side of the shirt. Stop them at about a third of the way through. Ay! I cut one of mine a little too deep so keep then shorter to be safe. If you find later that you need them deeper, you can always get your scissors out again.

Cut the seams out of all the strips you made. Including the shoulder. Tie them into knots.

Put on the shirt and make sure to tie the knots as they fit best.

DONE!!!

Show us what you dared to create!! :)
