Recycled T-Shirt Scarf or Necklace

This awesome method can be used to make scarves or necklaces. They look great and are cheap if not free.

To show how easy this is, I completed this DIY on my lap ;)

Step 1: Find an old T-Shirt that is a color you like. (You can combine more than one if desired).

Note: If you have one, use a T-shirt with no side seems. It will look better.

Step 2: Cut off the hem.

Step 3: Cut straight across the shirt in a horizontal line to make skinny strips.
I cut them about the thickness of two fingers.

Step 4: Gather all of the strips and stretch them. This will make them curl.

Step 5: Use leftover a left-over T-shirt strip to tie the rest together.

DONE!!

Give it a try. Add your own special touch. Try tying different colored strips together in knots to create a custom design. Show us your creation :)
